ok folks....if changed my mind one again and now im building my truck to be steet legal....so i tore out the converging 4link and now im redesigning...
check out my design...
i need your comments to see what to change...im building it soon so post....
Your 4 link looks close to parallel enough that you should consider a panhard rod. However, it should work. a friend of mine built a similar suspension for his toy, except he was still using leafs. With your coils you need to keep the axle centered.
Have you considered angling the upper arms or using a wishbone on top? Herb adams put out a book several years ago that has a lot of good info on building chassis's, mostly racing, if this is your cup of tea, it would be worth a read.
in the chuckstrucks post i said there is meant to be a panhard so just imagine there is one....
i also said that i am running a parellel 4link b/c im running a draglink and making it hydro assist....if i were to make a converging 4link w/o a panhard and still have my draglink i would get massive bumpsteer..
