Tony,

My condolences. I know how much it hurts, my father left us nearly the same way a couple of years back. I still miss him terribly though the pain does fade away. The great thing about family in times like this is you can lean on each other for strength.

Tony my brother ive been prayin the last couple months for you just as youve asked. One thing ya gotta understand in a time like this is that when you pray for a healing it doesnt always come the way you expect it. She may not have been healed this side of Glory but im sure shes standin beside the Big Guy right now. Shes got it better then the rest of us now and we can all hope to meet up with her again some day. Tell the family, esp your sister LOL, that your all still in my prayers.

I feel obligated to attempt to make you feel better. Words are such a horrible medium of communication, and ive never been any good at making it work. Me trying to tell you how i feel for you is like describing a color to a blind man; it cant be done effectively. Ill do my best though.

Ill start off with i am sorry for your loss. I have no idea how i would react to such a thing, and is not something i will think about. I only hope that i could stay positive during such a stressful situation. I believe thats one of the best aspects of humans; our ability to chose a positive or negative outlook.

They say life is a cold hard place, but i disagree. My grandpa once told me that "work is what you make it." He busted his *** as a brick layer for years and made just enough to feed his family with help from his small farm. He always sees positive through the negative. I believe his quote applies to life not just work. Remember that if it wasnt for bad times then there wouldnt be any good times. How could you define good without bad?

Bad things can happen to good people. What matters is how it affects you and how you choose to react. I imagine that statement is much easier said than done, but it should empower everyone. We should all realize we have total control over our outlook on life and therefore our happiness. This does not mean we will never be sad or depressed but it should make us more resilient to those emotions in times of stress.

Im gonna stop now as i dont think im communicating the message i want, i just hope you feel better. As you said shes in a better place now. Keep your chin up buddy were here for you.

I'm always encouraged when I read or hear someone express what you have. The knowledge that you will see her again. Sadness without despair or hopelessness. You miss her, but you know it's not forever.

People like you are an inspiration to me.
