Regardless of what went on elsewhere, name calling is unacceptable for on this site. These flame wars that erupt whenever someone doesn't agree with someone else's vendor choice(s) need to stop.

People need to be allowed to express their opinions, good, bad or otherwise, about products they use, service, etc. Even if you disagree it needs to be done without attacking the user. If a vendor feels he has been wrongly painted by it please let the vendor handle it as anything else (at least in this section) quickly errupts into a flame war.

I'm not commenting one way or another about Matt's tunes. I don't have a diesel and therefore don't run his tunes. He has a following here and if that's because he's provided a good service that's great, and if someone feels negatively about a vendor then its an opportunity for him, or any other supporting vendor in a similar situation, to turn a seemingly negative product/service comment into an opportunity to provide positive product service in full view of the users.

Plenty of folks seem to feel its fair game to diss products they don't like yet jump on folks who don't like their products of choice. Double-standards to say the least. So, one person has a temporary vacation for repeatedly calling another names. Others involved in this thread who have resorted to name calling please heed it as a warning. I don't think I need to name names, you know who you are.

Matt, thanks for handling this positively.

To everyone else -- there's a report post icon next to each post. If you have such a strong personal problem with another user, or their opinions, use it to report the post and let the staff make a judgement call before we end up with yet another 5+ page flame war. Its just not needed here and is against the spirit of what FTE is about.

Thank you.
