Steering Column

Anyone have any knowledge of the easiest steering column, that has tilt, that can be installed in a 1953 to 1956 pickup with power steering. Before I start this task I would like to get more information on possible used columns vs. a column from "ididit". Shifter is on the floor. Thanks

I am rebuilding a 56 myself and would be interested as to what kind of power steering setup you are using

Steering Column

Right now I am planning to install a 1994 351W "Lightining" engine. This engine has a power steering unit on it now. The stock front steering system will be removed and changed to a Heidt IFS kit with disk brakes. Hope this helps.

Steering Column

I've been told the TOYOTA powersteering conversion is the best away to get better steering and the cheepest way if you plain to change the box and keep the streight axle.
I have a 56 F100 I'm workin on too.
