shift kit for a c-6
hey,
If i were to put a b&m shift kit in my 85 ford f-150 with a 351ho, would it hurt anyhting? will it ever break the tires loose when accelerating hard from 1st to 2nd gear, im looking for more of a firm shift when towing, and just daily driving

Well if you are going to be using this pickup for towing and daily driving I would say you could use a 2500-3000 RPM shift kit. If that doesnt break the tires loose when your foot is on the floor I dont know what will.

The B&M Shift Improver Kit will work great in your C-6. Set it up on the street mode and it will shift very firm!! Don't try and put it in a weak transmission though. But if your trans is in good shape, slap it in there. I've put many of these in the C-6's with good results.
