I have seen the actual product I want, but they refuse to sell to the public, but I am looking for a pressure sensitive pad, approx 3x3". The idea is to place it inline to the brake pedal shifter lockout. So you must hit the brakes and press down on the pad with your other foot to put the transmission into gear. I am having a hard time finding a low profile pad that will not bulge under the carpet.
Yes, certain law enforcement agencies have them and it's a really convient system to lock out the shifter. Much better then FHP's old removing the key while the engine's running system.
Basically unless you know where to press down, you can't shift the trans out of park.
