Let me ask you a question. With that ever return your investment?

Banks is good, and I can't think of anything bad about them. You will get more power, and more sound, but you can do that for a lot cheaper. You can improve the turbo, and that would give you some nice benefits.

6.0

The 6.0 sounds great if to take the muffler and cats off and straight pipe it. Ford told me that the stock exhaust and intake were good up to 500 Hp. After that start going with the bigger stuff

You may get the best answers from guys in the 6.0 forum. From the reading I've done here at FTE and diesel mags there are other and better stuff out there. I have heard some negative things about Banks tuning and that other companies have better safer tuning. I do however like that the Banks kit upgrades the intercooler and intake tubes/elbow which I think is a good thing to do when modding a diesel with high performance tune.

You could more than likely piece together parts from different companies to get just as much if not more power than Banks for less money.

I would do some research online, here at FTE, contact manuf. and etc. to find the best setup for your money and will suit your application.

Automobiles in General are very poor investments and having a nice truck with mods is more about personal preferance and fun rather than a good investment or return of investment.

You can get an exhaust for a whole lot less than 3200, i got my 5" cat-back for about 450$, and all you have to do is get a turbo downpipe and cat delete and you have a system that cost all about 700, and it has a nice growl to it as well

I think he was looking at a Banks Big Hoss bundle for his 6.0l, which is an entire kit of electronics (PDA), Intercooler, Intake Elbow and Tubes, Cold Air Kit and Exhaust for around $3500 or so.

A good freeflowing exhaust is a good place to start.

ohh, i thought it was 3200 just for the exhaust, that was a little expensive, but i have the superchips programmer, spent about 1 grand with intake elbow, exhaust, and the programmer, and even with 13" wide tires, i still spin them any time i want

Keep your stock exhaust, remove your muffler and install a straight pipe in it's place and enjoy!!
