Not necessarily, you can have higher cylinder pressures by flowing more air into the cylinders vs. high boost levels.

i.e., My D66 flows like 13500 cfm and the rated peak boost the "normal" people would see is about 22-24psi. Now the stock turbo on your truck flows 700cfm and the peak boost is 32-34psi. So boost numbers dont really mean your flowing gobs of air, its just the pressure which its being fed. Its all about the turbo's air flow, not boost numbers.

indeed steve, my buddy just changed his lightning from the supercharger to a twin turbo set-up and he was able to cut his physical boost pressure in half while increasing his flow dramaticly, the power out of the beast is incredible

OK you guys are the guru's. But if the stock max boost is 32-34 why can I only get 20 if I push real hard? Maybe uppies? Keep in mind I don't have chips or I-jectors yet.

Oh By the way make me a deal for the chip and D66. I believe Tim got it didn't he? He really deserves it he is a great guy and I wouldn't stand in his way. He has helped me more than a D66 costs. BTW have a great day and let me know...Please.

Well stock psi is 18-20psi but at max the turbo will produce 32-34psi when using a chip and injectors. Irregardless your turbo still flows 700cfm no matter what boost level.

Tim already has agreed to give the turbo a good home, plus I need his freshly rebuilt stocker for my twin turbo kit. If for some reason he backs outta the deal, you'll be first to know

As for the chip, i'll sell it to ya for $225+ shipping

Thanks. I will probably take it. Can I get it reburned when I get stage II's??????????? Also I would have loved a combo deal but Tim is the best and deserves the toys.

You wont need it reburned for stage 2's. Your gonna need the chip switch and cord which you can get from BDP for I believe $35.

Like I said, if Tim goes anti-PMS then your next in line for the turbinator.

if you feel the need to spend an extra $100 for the same thing then please feel free to do so, but know this that that $400 is just for the chip so you'll still have shipping costs on top of that. Plus i highly doubt shipping will be anything more then $11-15. Like I said this chip is brand new, never been used, so your gettin the same thing from me as you would from anybody else, diffrence is mine is cheaper. let me know
