I think i would of said something to him if i was just someone walking by looking. i never make a neg comment on anybodys ride, only positive comments. The way i see it is if you compliment the ride even if it's not finished then the owner is more likely to complete it if he's able to, but if you feed him negative comments it could discourage the person and he may never finish it or worse let it sit or junk it. The point i'm trying to make is always compliment the owners ride so we can keep seeing them around whether there fixed up original, custom, unrestored or what ever there condition. Theres not many left so we should appreciate them the way we see them. Sorry guys, the guy pisses me off to!
It does a lot of cool stuff, but you can re-size your photos to a manageable size and very easy. It takes a bit of practice but now, I can't live without it.
The best feature is "Resize to desktop" for sending pics to your friends via E-Mail.
Rude behavior must be confronted. If someone badmouths another's vehicle then they should be aware that they run the risk of being challenged. The vast majority of people attending these shows with their vehicles would not say anything disparaging about another vehicle except maybe a motorcycle or rice burner. As far as the offender's skill level, there is no way to know for sure unless you call him out. "If you're good enough to badmouth my truck, maybe you're good enough to come to my house and help me work on it!" Rude people usually don't like being spotlighted. There was a guy leaning on my Fairlane once until I yelled across the lot "Get your butt off my car!" He moved down the road rather quickly. Keep attending shows, Jag
o hi'll keep goin' to the shows and he's gonna be in for a suprise next time if he opens his fat mouth . no physical confrontation unless he goes to that level but i will get in his face . as far as driving and enjoying well, i just had to change the oil , put 1000 miles on her in what about a month now . the only detriment is i keep breakin' it ! it's tranny is bad , needs a rebuild and now i gotta take the front end apart as i got a king pin on the right side goin' away on me . ah well such is the price i pay .now to find the time to do it !!! i have to baby it back 'n' forth to the job about 2 miles as it is now officially my only wheels save for her car , and she's gotta have that for the same . not to mention no new car is gonna come close to the thrill of drivin bessie . i also put a peice of plywood in the bed so i could haul some stuff and i'll d-mn sure bet mr. show truck aint gonna do that . hell the only time i see his truck is for a show , what fun is that ??????
This is my old blue, paint faded, doors need adjusting, bed need replacing, spare fender wearing, lite lifter tapping,17000 road mile driven 55 F100. I've been to a few shows in the time since it has been finished. I am sure some wondered WTHeck is he doing here. I don't care. Like others have said you get guys, ladies, and kids alike giving you the thumbs up and staring with strong interest. I stay keep driving and keep going. Driving them is where it is at.
This is me last fall coming back from Chimney Rock,NC on I-40. I am taking the picture and driving. Dont worry I just held the camera level and snapped the photo and my eyes never left the road nor my left hand the wheel. Man nothing like the view of the Great Smokey Mountains from the windshield of an old Ford Truck. Keep rollin' my friend. See you on the road.
