That is good that spybot work...

Make sure you immunize it to protect yourself from further attacks. I find many people who do not know about immunize.. It is on the left side..

When you click it you should get a screen that says all known products are blocked. Make sure you have 2 green check marks.. If you don't then click on the immunize at the top of the screen..

If you keep this program updated it will prevent just about everything (spyware) from attacking your pc.

I 2nd this idea. To be honest, i dont know how well it is on spyware removal, virus removal, etc cause i rarely have that problem. However, i know a lot of people use it so theres gotta be something good about it....other than the fact that its free of course.

As a side note, if youre a little computer savy and carefull about what you download, where you go on the web, etc you can avoid spyware. I have several scanners and since i did the last format (sometime in '06) i still havent had any spyware. When it comes to viruses, i dont recall ever having one except for when i had windows 3.1 (I think thats what it was called, the one before windows '95).

I truly detest Norton anything. I swear to you, to all of FTE, and to anyone who may stumble on this post, if i ever see Mr. Norton, i will swiftly kick him in the ***** with all of my might. Im gonna **** my foot way back before it too, maybe ill get a running start.

I think at first when the norton programs came out a ways back (pre win 95 i think) it was a good one. Eventually it turned into the biggest p.o.s ive ever used. I am not exagerating.

This is the first time ive ever heard a positive review of that program.
Norton has caused more problems with my computer then any virus ever could,in fact it caused my last computer to commit suicide and cost me over a $150.00 to repair my new one witch norton paid for then I dropped them like a hot rock.

It has to be a program conflict, because I had nothing but trouble with it also.
Removed it, and everything was good again.
