4R100 shifting hard
I have a 99 F-250 superduty with 5.4 and 4R100 that shifts really hard the OD light isn't blinking, but the ABS light is on. Any information on where to start troubleshooting would be greatly appreciated.

If your speedo is working you have one of three problems with the ABS light. Either the GEM is not communicating with the ABS module or the ABS module is not functioning or it is not receiving a single from the front wheels. Look over the wires in the front wheel wells.

well I changed the rear diff speed sensor and checked the front wires, ABS light is still on, which I'm not to worried about but the tranny still shifts really hard. Is there a speed sensor on the tranny also?

the speedo is working, but the odometer isn't. also sometimes I will press the gas pedal all the way to the floor and the truck won't rev up while I'm driving. This thing is starting to give me a headache!!
