Are you looking at a mechanical advance or vacuum? Mallory Unilite distributors are very reliable. I'm going to save up to get me a new mechanical one. 50 dollars is very reasonable for unilite. Check the part number to make sure it will work for your engine. Should be a 45 or 47 series.
You got a great deal. Most new ones go for about $300 or more. A friend I got some headers from had one but it was mechanical and he said it made a considerable difference on his engine.
