Question What's your favorite domestic cigar?

I'm not talking expensive Cubans here but rather the inexpensive domestic cigars. For me it's Backwoods Black & Milds. What's yours?

There are no good domestic cigars. I prefer handrolled imports. Marduro, double maduro in a robusto size....

I go to a local cigar shop and one of the best 'bustos around are about $3.00 a stick. Partagas Black Label.

I also buy "substitutes" from JR cigars. They are knock offs of brand names. They are not to bad. The cost for these are about $1.50 a stick. That's not too bad.

I also like most of Drew Estates stuff. The carry the Acid brand. The KMV is the best in this line. The Kuba Kuba and Nasty are good also.

Backwoods are pretty good, but I'm with wildcard, one of the best cigars is Partagas Black Label. My typical Saturday night involves opening a cold one, lighting a good cigar and grilling up some chops.

Those don't qualify as either good or cigars.
I agree that domestic cigars are not the way to go. I like Dominican cigars, as most of the growers are Cuban exiles, anyway. My favorite of all is the one I get from somebody else, commonly referred to as OP brand!

Blackwoods are not good cigars! They are cheap flavored tobacco. Same with Swisher and other junk that try to pass themselves off as "cigars."

I find Dominicans to be better than most Cuban cigars I've smoked. Nicaraguan cigars have gotten better over the years though they do tend to be harsh. Honduran, hit and miss.

Nope- a phatty!
I think Ben misses the sixties.

I like Backwoods smokes when I'm outside in the wilderness- fishing, hiking, etc. They don't taste bad and they are great for keeping bugs away from you.
