painting distributor cap?

painting distributor cap?
i have a msd billet distributor for my 460 and i was wondering if i could paint the cap to match the engine(everything is blue but the cap.....its red). or can i get a cap for the msd thats blue? any info would be appreciated. thanks,

I wouldn't paint the cap if I was you,
If the the paint has any lead in it, you will get a lot of cross fire from the wires arcing, rough running, etc.
