what brand drop bracket is that? i will take a pic of mine tomarrow, its much beefer than that 2 piecer you got, mine is all one piece and has cross braces welded to it, i was wondering how you mangaeg to crack yours

Quick question about IFS.
I have replaced the ball joints and tie rod ends. I also have a quote of $380 to replace the pivot bushing. Does that sound correct? And are you all modifying this suspension set up to beef it up at all?
Or should I just leave it and it won't break for a long while LOL?

I noticed the lag dropped off a lot, after the intercooler it was significant lag, but now it's almost like it was before the intercooler, which is a lot faster.
Let me know what kind you have c00nhunter, I would def like to go to something that will hold up better. I think I'm going to call up rough country and see how much that bracket is, I was looking at it closer and looks like it would be better to replace the whole thing rather than fix all the cracks

Nice looking intercooler install, where did you buy it: Banks?. is all from there or only the Y pipe and the other pipes.

My lift is only 4" so I don't know if the 6" skyjacker setup would work..
My intercooler I bought off ebay, it's just one off a 99 SD, and I custom made all the mounting hardware, and cut to fit. I bought the pipes off banks since I didn't want to mess around making my own. By the way if anyone wants 4 pieces of 3" tubing bent to a 90deg angle I'll sell them to you cheap!! I was going to make my own, but just liked the banks pipes and ram air deal.
