I found a flywheel with the casting number E8TR-AA. I believe it is a manual flywheel for either a 302 or 351 but I am not sure. Can anybody help me out?
I've got to do a clutch / flywheel upgrade; just got a flywheel (D7TZ-6375C or D7TE-GA). The right size for my application; 11" / 164 tooth with a 6 1/4" bolt pattern for the pressure plate (6 bolts / 3/8"-16 thread). This bolt pattern doesn't match my current bad plate that I'm replacing. The new flywheel has several patterns on it but not drilled for them. Bill had posted several applications for this flywheel so I'm assuming FORD drilled the flywheels different for the applications. I don't really want to tap new holes if the new clutch I purchase doesn't match the current ones - which application would this flywheel fit according to Bill's list? I'm searching the net looking at all the clutch companies but haven't yet found any real answers to the differences in patterns.
Hi. This looks like the right place to ask this. I have a flywheel cast number
C6ZE - 6380 - A and stamped into it is the number C7ZE - B . It has 157 teeth. The od of the teeth is about 13 1/4"
I'd like to know if it's OK to use on the 289 and what clutch is right for it. It would also be great to know if it will work with the bell housing number
C5AA - 6394 - B.
Thank you, Dave.
