I've got a 04 6.0 with 800hp and I can't keep a 5r110 in it to save my life I'm on my 11th one to this date I was thinking about an Allison swap just for the fact that they can be upgraded a lot more than a ts

Have you put a truly built trans in it? What is the failing point in the trannies?

Nice 9 year old zombie thread....

If you are running THAT much power out of a 6.0 something like a billet'd up 4R100 might be a better options. Allisons have their limits too.

What's the end game? Race or pull? 48re is a faster tranny at the track
