I recently did a rough country leveling kit on my 14 F250 gasser 4x4. I have a heavy ranch hand bumper that dropped the stock front end about an inch even with the plow package springs.
I am now an inch higher in the front vs the rear, now is it a good idea to replace the rear factory 4" block with a 5 inch, or better to get different springs with the proper arch?
I just want it closer to level... It's driving me nuts!
I have the two large leafs with the big overload on the bottom.
I know there are other options for springs from Ford but getting into kinda guessing with all this
Makes the blocks seem easier since the block kit also comes with the carrier bearing shims
I would not replace the springs if you're only looking for an inch difference. Just do the blocks, easier and you are pretty well guaranteed 1" is what you'll get. Changing springs will become a bit of a crapshoot I think as to what overall height you actually end up with. Not to mention harder and more expensive.
