What trucks do I need to be looking for at junkyards to pull a mass air conversion for my 94 F350 351W SD E04D?

the 94+ 5.0/F-150's were equiped with mass air. In 96/97, the 5.8 trucks got it but some of the later versions were OBD-2 and that breed is not plug-n-play with the instrument cluster.

Cool. There should be plenty f150s around. I had a 92 that I converted along time ago, but it had an AOD and I bought the conversion for $500 brand new. Too much money for me this time.

So I should be looking for any 94,95,96 F150 5.0 95, 96,97 f250/f350

But if they have OBD2 than I cannot use it correct?

I thought all cars were OBD2 from 95 to present.

Cars.. yes, but trucks over 8500lb GVWR were still OBD1 until the new body style and motors were introduced in late '97 and '98.

If I use the 5.0 computer do you mean from a truck or from any car?

It has to be from a vehicle with an EO4D tranny correct?

When you say get it tuned...........how do I do this?

yes it must be from an f150 or bronco running 5.0/e4od mass air. getting it tuned is taking to a dyno shop and making a few runs. this will be the best bang for your buck and give you the most potential out of it.

wacth out for the tranny wiring differences. I grabbed a harness from a 94MAF5.0e40d and it didnt work with my 92e40d. 351s might not have that problem though.

OK. I have a 1994 F150 302 with MAF and a EO4D. What exactly do I need to take off of the F150 to convert my 1994 F350 351W over to MAF?

Do you want to do a plug and play swap?

Or are you up to tearing apart both wiring harnesses to remove the MAF, injector, and left side O2 wiring from the donon and insert it into your harness.
