I had the brake booster replaced the other day by my mechanic because it was losing pressure under heavy braking conditions and the truck would continue to roll. Well the brakes have always made a "scrunching" noise when I slowly press the brake pedals.
Someone mentioned bushings in the firewall where the brake rod sits on. I need to get to these bushings and grease the hell out of them.
Any suggestions or ideas? My other thread solved the braking issue.
Do you have the adjustable pedals? With the non-adjustable pedals the booster should not have to be removed but the pedal bracket does attach with the same bolts as the booster.
