Well the 4/wd shop figured part of it out. They are putting brand new WARN locking hubs on the front of it cause the hubs were shot. They got the front end unlocked finally. So now I wont eat as much gas. They are going to fix the front u-joint on the left front. And they are going to try and diagnose the 4x4 issue. They are gonna check the wiring harness for any shorts. But when we hooked the wiring back up to the transfer case motor it didnt start enagaging by itself which I would have liked it to do but it didnt.
ya you should have heard the LF/DS u-joint when the front end was locked. When you went to turn all you hear was boom boom boom. Once that is all fixed. Then I have to start on the manifold. Then the body. Then Paint the whole thing. And I will be good.
All fixed. 4/wd works. Can't pick it up till tomarrow. But the ball joints are bad in the front and I have to change them. But here are the things changed.
well I got bad news from the guy too haha. The ball joints are bad. So I am going to have to replace them myself because he wants $400 a side and both sides are bad. But he wants $350 including labor to do BOTH exhaust manifolds so I am gonna have him do those. And I tested out the 4/wd saturday afternoon in the mud. Yep it works. No worries now lol.

Replace the ball joints with the type that have grease fittings. You'll be better off in the long run.
