Local GTG
Anyone want to have a get together in the Memphis area. We could meet at a local eatery one weekend soon. Or we could meet at one of the local race tracks. MMS has something every weekend & Holly Springs has a new track. I don't know of any car shows at this time but the one in Collierville is soon.I will find out the date & post it. It had over 400 cars & trucks last yr. Post up some ideas & lets have a meet & greet.

Why don't we have a GTG at Hooters in Memphis. It might make the wives mad but I'm sure they will get over it. I like Hooters myself. The scenery is great & the hot wings are good too.

Good to see you posting Capbyrd. We could have a G2G at the ZZ Top show next month. Tickets are only $20. Its time for a G2G. Lets try to get one going. Tell Matt he needs to join FTE too. I'll let him in even though he lives in Miss. I talked his mom into letting him go to a G2G in Nashville back when he was about 16.

Matt is a great guy. I may email him & see if he will join FTE. Lets see if wecan get something going for next month. The ZZ Top show is on a thursday so it isn't a good place for a G2G. Hooters is though. Matt has made a couple of Hooters meets with the other Ford site we are on. I plan to keep this post on the top & see how many folks are interested.

funny you should bring that up. Im reading a Jimmy Buffett book currently and he says that that is pretty much the rule in the Carribean.

I can't bring my 14 year old to Hooters - one thing to ask for forgiveness another to do it from the grave. Any other place would be great. I have to bring him - just trying to get him interested in mechanical things like my father did to me.

We could go to Buffalo Wild Wings or any place. My wife will not go to Hooters. It doesn't matter to me where we meet. I just want to get some members together to meet & show off our trucks. I'm going out of town labor day weekend so lets plan something for after then.

We could meet at the fair at the Agricenter the week after Labor day. It sounds like its gonna be a great show. It has many redneck events that should be fun for any truck owner to watch. I know I'm going to it

Its like a old time county fair. Their are many events & lots of different musicians. There are signs around town advertising it. It starts on the 31 & runs through the 9th. Plus its in a much safer place than the state fair. I'll try to find more info about it if I can. I'm going out of town for the weekend so it might be next week before I post the info.

I found a way for everyone to check out the fair. Go to the web site www.deltafest.com It tells everything about the fair. Why don't we plan to meet there on Sat the 8th of Sept.
