well, ford actually says use clean motor oil but i use brake cylinder assembly lube, its slippery as hell, works great on all kinds of stuff..lol, every set i've ever done has slid in by hand and then light pressure litterally gave it a light pop into place, even with the ac box still installed.
Wait, I just realized something. Did I say remove the a/c box???? I meant just the vacuum canister on the side of the a/c box. DO NOT REMOVE THE WHOLE A/C BOX. Whoops. Yet another good save c00n. I think, I haven't gone back to check my post.
these guys have you on the right track here. To pop the injectors in I set them in place and engage the hold down into the top hold down bolt then use a dead blow hammer handle on the lower part fo the clamp then hit the head of the hammer with my hand to seat the injector. It uses the hold down as good leverage and doesn't risk hurting the injector.
Yeah, it was kinda vague. But I think it's clear now. Man, where's my head today?
What are the torque specs and are you going to guarantee them for me 'cause I will certainly let you know. LMFAO. Seriously god bless you and thanx for the info. I really didn't mean to bring that up but I couldn't help myself.
ok guys i pulled my injectors out yesterday.. it took me about 4 hours, it really wasn't bad at all except that one bolt by the a/c box... i sent in my injectors today and they're supposed to be delivered by wednesday, obviously i got insurance on them, so figuring they said it takes 2-3 days to build them that'll give me friday or monday taht they'll be on their way back? hopefully i can get them by next thursday (my birthday aka when i get my license) and i can throw em in real quick!
