Another gas tank source

I recently picked up a rear gas tank out of a 93 F-350 C+C. It a 18 gallon plastic tank. It will work with fuel injection or carb (use diesel sending unit). Here's some pics:

The bottom tank support is actually a skid plate.

I grabbed the gas tank support crossmembers and since they are 34" wide it will easily adapt to our stock frames.

The one side even has a heat shield for the exhaust.

The dimensions are 23x27x16" for the whole assembly. This tank won't work to well for lowered trucks but should work great for the big trucks and stock trucks who want the tank out of the cab. Since its a plastic tank you shouldn't have a problem finding one in good condition since it can't rust!

Since my tank came out of a diesel truck I will have to add a fuel pump from a gas engine version (like 460, 351W). I plan on using a 77-79 F-series pickup gas door and filler tube on the back of my rear fender for filling.

This tank was used on 1980 to I assume 1996 F-350 C+C trucks.
