the whole intake cost me around 70 dollars... but it is worth it... i am getting alot more boost... and i can really hear the turbo sing now and i got a ???? does the tymar help lower exhaust temps??? if so by how much???
it is actually the homemade job... i got the filter at napa... a piece of 4in. exhaust pipe and another clamp at mountain truck parts... and that is it... the whole thing just took me about 15 min. 2 install...
yup i got the napa 6637 for 28 bucks,(love havin the account) and a short piece of 4 inch exhaust i had layin around, the clamp i also had in the ol' tool box
not sure on the egt, it has to help since you get more air in there but the biggest gain is extended turbo life, i get a nice discount working for the DOD i just show my id and get a slight discount

By the way you can get an AAA discount at NAPA on some items and this is one of them. I think around 40 bucks, not sure. Try the discount sometimes they don't check for the card.
