Thanks to board help, I have fixed all the little problems that I was having by changing the ABS sensor, but I'm still having problems with the engine dying. May run for 5 miles, may run for 2. Sometimes I can start it right back up other times I have to let it set for a little bit. I thought I would move on to the VSS sensor, that was another suggestion on the post ((Weird Things just started- Electrical ) but I'm having problems locating it. According to NAPA's schematics for my truck it shows both the VSS and a ABS sensor on the rear differential. But I only have the ABS sensor there! Some one on here said that they are the same? So can anyone tell me if there is two sensors on some trucks and others just have one? Also if I don't have a VSS, is it possible that my CPS sensor is going bad again. I've only changed it once, and don't remember exactly, but was thinking that it was a problem with the truck just dying for no reason when going down the road. I've checked, cleaned, all the battery cables, and I'm sure the problem is not there.

If it shuts off just like you turned off the key, then more then likely its the CPS. And yes you only have one sensor on top the differential, and it provides a signal for both the abs, and vss. I would head on to the stealer, and buy the new $25 cps, stick it in, and see what happens. I believe you will be pleasantly surprised.
I had my CPS "hiccup" on me going down the highway - felt like the key was switched off. She fired right up though and I finished my trip with no problems, but I swapped out that CPS as soon as I got home and have had no problems since.
When mine went, it wouldnt actually stall the truck, it just hiccuped a bunch of times, that was obnoxious at highway speeds, Ive got to say, that was probably the worst feeling of "what did i do to my truck" even though i knew it was the cps, it just didnt feel right at all
Just for FYI, here is a pic of the VSS. I should have rotated the pic as it is 90* out so turn your head to the left and it will look right. The hole you can see is the fill/check hole with plug removed. The VSS hole is on the top behind my hand and VSS. It serves as the rear ABS signal too. There are a few other pics of it in my gallery.
Ok, I got the CPS from Ford today, (the new grey one) FYI $27.00 here in Central Illinois. Put it on, and I'm back to running strong. No more problems. Thanks agian everyone for the help.
