Its been liek this for awhile, I honestly forget how it happened. I think one of the employees tried to push soemthing, i dunno. Anyway, I want to fix it and was wondering if you guys had any suggestions. It wont bend back up either. Would one of these be what i might need to fix this? http://www.speedyperformanceparts.co...99&partid=8204
I feel really stupid here....but I jsut looked under there and the bumper looks to be attached right around the tow hook area(that plate around them). I dont really wanna mess with these if im not supposed to, dont know if these are related to the air bags or anything. And I cant see anywhere that would let me slide it up that much.
OK, remember this is only the bumper cover (or fascia). The real bumper is a large ugly chunk of steel behind the cover.
Just in front of your front tires you will see a bracket. It runs to the lower corner of the bumper cover. Follow that bracket back to where it is attached to the frame. It is held on with one bolt. The hole in the bracket is oval, allowing you to move the cover up and down to make it straight.
Loosen the cover a little, put a jack under one side and slowly lift the cover until you feel it is straight. Then tighten the mounting bolts.
Yeah, I agree with the others. I looks like the bumper has been shifted down on that side, not neccisarily (sp) bent. I would try loosening the bolts and moving it around. You'd be surprised how much it may move.
Those are the plates it attaches to though. It all depends if you see anything that is actually bent.
It's easy to take the bumper off, then you can see exactly what is wrong!
