2.3L questions
For the engine I would like to use a 2.3L--more than likely a turbo'ed one from a mustang/t-bird/capri etc... Would these engines work well for this application? Were any of these engines not fuel injected? It would seem that they would be easier to swap into a ranger that origionally had a carbed 2.3. Call me old-fashoned, but I would much rather have an engine with a carb rather than a fuel injected one...
I have many questions, but I'll save some for next time so that I don't overload the server....
Thanks for the help!
EDIT: I forgot to specify that it's going to be 2wd--if that matters.

Many years ago, I had a carbed Turboed 2.0L in a
'72 Capri, which was about 1300lbs lighter than
your old ride, once I had it fully sorted, it ran
in the low 13's...
