Well looks as though I might be coming up with alot of questions lol. I got the spark plugs figured out and the truck runs great. Now I am working on some of the electrical as someone has butcher the wires.
My turn singnals, brake lights and all those work but the headlights do not work at all. No low or high beams and I have replaced them with new bulbs as well. Any ideas on why they would just quit?
Also would there be any kind of wiring diagram or something of the sort for some of the wires on the inside because my fan switch doesn't work but the wires there are all mixed also.
Go to www.painlessperformance.com and download the 20 circuit Ford Bronco Harness installation manual. It is manual number 90521. It has some great wiring diagrams in it for the entire vehicle. Great, very inexpensive resource that you can save to your computer and print what you need to have in your toolbox!! Just make sure that you are referring to the original diagram since it will show the proper color codes.

Were the headlamps working at one time? If so...the dimmer switch will cause the headlamps to go out if it's bad. Common problem on older Fords.
The scenario: Lights are on low beam, the dimmer switch is depressed, lights go out. Try depressing the switch, see if the headlamps come back on.
Well the truck hasn't really been driven or used over the past few years but I am getting some things back fixed to make it road worthy again.
The headlights DID work before and now just don't. I hit the dimmer switch and get nothing out of them. All other lights work.
I am going to check the grounds for the headlights but after that I am kind of stumped. I do know the truck could use a rewire job but right now I don't have time to do it but need the truck back on the road again.

If you hit the dimmer switch, and nothing happened..the dimmer switch is bad. The same switch has been used since 1960, is available everywhere and are cheap. Possible loose connection, wiggle the plug.

I agree with Number Dummy, 95 percent possibility that it's the dimmer switch. change out the switch and when you have it apart make sure to check the wiring connection, they also get corroded to the point they will not make contact anymore. also make sure that the new switch is grounded good, i believe that the switch has to be grounded to the body before it will work. been awhile since i've worked on that so i dont know that for sure. dutch
That just happened to me yesterday!!! 1966 F100. My outage was eratic. I reached under where the switch is to wiggle wires and found the culprit 20 minutes ago. Acts like bad connection, for whatever reason. Hopefully won't go out on that pitch black mountain road I travel every morning at 3:30am.
I ran into the same problem over the weekend and found 2 black ground wires on the drivers side radiator support werent getting good contact. i cleaned them off and my headlights came on.
