They are a family all their own. That includes the 383 ( '58/'60 Mercury ), 410 ( '58/'60 Edsel ), 430 ( '58/'65 Lincoln, '58/'60 Mercury, and '59/'60 T'Bird ), and 462 ( '66/'68 Lincoln ). They are motors the manufacturers have virtually forgotten and parts are very expensive.

You got that right the parts are kinda expensive as well as difficult to really find what your looking for. my 58 Monterey has the 383 in it.
