I have a 1999 F350 PSD Dually 6 spd. The sticker on the door says MFG 01/1999
but it looks like the 99-03 model Turbo.
How can I tell for sure if its a early or late model ???
You should have a late 99 but if you want to be sure look at your air boif stock), if it says intercooled, then its early, if not is late. Another way is if your badge is on the door or the fender. Fender badge means early, door badge means late.
with a build date of 1/99 it should be a late 99...look at the spider pipe in pic below..on the right is the early 99..the left is the late 99..see the leg sticking up in the air??? that is where the driver side IC pipe hooks into.. in the pic to the right..the early 99 you can see the leg gets smaller as it enters the belly of the spider...on the left.the late 99..the leg stays 3 inches as it enters the belly. the 2 legs at the bottom you will notice they are 3 inches going in to the plenums...early 99 they are 2 inches..

The badge dosent always mean its one year or another. i have an early 99 built 11/18/98 and it has the badges on the door but other than that its early.
mine was built 3/98...it had all 05 badges and it had the up dated air box when i bought her...best way to tell is the sticker on the door..then look at spider to see if has been up graded..
