What the difference between early and late 99?
I own a 99 F350. MFG date os 04/99. Is this an early 99 or a 99.5 model?

Nope, its a 99.5 or late 99 wichever you want to call it.
Early 99's were made 6-98 through 12/17/98. 12/18/98 till 6-99 is considered a late 99 or 99.5
