Thanks for the post, that's about the stance I'll be going for as well. Out of curiosity (maybe i missed it) what other mods did you do if any to the suspension? Do you have manual or power steering? Thanks, matt.
i have power steering, power drumbrakes.
i used:
1...1965 - 1979 FORD F100,F150 IBEAMS F100 Only 7/8" KINGPIN
2...FORD SHACKLE DROP KIT
3...DROP SHOCKS
i cant remember if i used the "1965 - 1972 FORD F100,F150 HANGER F100 Only" that they offer, i will have to look and see. i did the truck about 1 1/2 years ago so i really cant remember if i did or not. when i go and get the truck out this weekend i will check and see, and if anyone is interested i will take pics of the installed ibeams and rear shackle kits already installed on the truck and post them.
Yes William, please post up some pics. Damn, every time I think I have just about enough money saved up for what I want to do next, someone like YOU comes along and gets me thinking. I can't afford to think this much!!
Ha! I'm still trying to put enough back to take my 390 down to the machine shop to have it gone through. It'll all come together, I just got the truck about a year ago and am surprised at all I've gotten done so far. The new wiring harness is really cool. I need to add some pictures to my gallery sometime soon.
yeah, i got a 1967 390/335 sitting on my engine stand that i was gonna put in but my current 360 runs extremely well so i put it on the backburner for now. maybe one day soon i will get a wild hair and change them out, but no more than i drive it, it will probably be a while before i touch it.

I bought the Painless Harness w/ all new switches through Jegs. Cheapest place I could find. And their customer service is tops. Shipped and was at my house in two days.
