heys guys, i havent been on here in a while. i promised some guys some updated pics of my 68 ranger after i installed the lowering i beams and rear shackles. sorry it took so long, but here are a few. i was going for the stock look and to get it as low as i could without chopping the frame up. ride is real good, surprisingly! any questions, feel free to ask, enjoy and take care!

thanks for the comments guys.
i am running factory 8 inch ford wheels on the front and back, but different tire sizes.
front: 215/70R15
rear: 275/60R15
i was running the same on the front as the rear, but it rubbed on sharp turns, so i went smaller. it also helps with the more narrow rear end as the front tires are not as wide as the rear and it doesnt look like the truck is running side ways down the road. (some of you guys know what i am talking about)
as far as the bed rails, i think they were an option back then, and you could buy them at local parts stores as an aftermarket add-on. i have not seen any of these rails around in a long time. you can find the smaller bullet type rails, but they dont look as good as the bigger ones, in my opinion. they require that you drill holes and install them with screws. they do not fit in the square holes on the top of the bedside.
My rails came off an old Polaris wagon of all things. I'll be changing them and the GM tilt Steering wheel back to Ford soon. Then She will be all Ford and Edelbrock.
thanks guys. i hope that anyone who has any questions about the lowering ibeams will feel free to ask and i will help in any way i can. i really like it and i think its the way to go if you dont want to chop up your frame.
William, I was looking at AIM's web site and found those drop I beams. I think they listed at something south of $500, would that be for both sides? Or each? That's a great looking drop. I don't want to go any lower than that.
