Heh, kermmy......yeah, Bullhead City used to get always the "Nation's Highest".....until they moved the thermonmeter a few years ago. Nearby Lake Havasu City might have Lake Havasu but it's in a "heatsink hole". Always a toss up between Bullhead and LHC who has the highest temps.
This morning, Parker KLPZ said it was supposed to be 116 degrees....my son said all he knew it was HOT with all that river humidity he works in. It was about 90 degrees in the office with the swamper going.....and it felt nearly "cold" coming in from the outside.
All a matter of becoming acclimated. Learned that the first month living up on at the Placer Gold mine after Kirby and I were married. That was June 1972 and that was living in a stone house that stood on a shelf along a broad wash that was enclosed by very rocky Arizona desert mountains. Before that I lived in the San Diego area. BIG difference!
It hasn't been to bad here yet but this coming week it is going to be in the mid to high 90s with a ton of humidity.I hate the humidity the heat it self don't bother me.
