Heat Wave!

OOOkay. Getting that time of the year and might as well start a subject thread.

Just how hot is/was it today for you all?

A friend told us it was 124 degrees yesterday in Bouse itself. Humdity is quite low so the nights stay pretty cool still.

Did not read our thermometer though. Will do that tomorrow to post here.

I think it was 72º here, but it felt more like 68º.

That's because I live close to the Golden Gate Bridge, and the natural AC (fog) just rolled in. I love it.

However, tomorrow, it's suppose to be a blistering 75º.

Which means............................................. .........it's Miller time.

However, I'm currently painting a house in San Rafael, where it's closer to 90º.

So when I head home and I see that fog, I think.............................it's definitely...............................Miller time.

I miss the bay. No matter how hot it was, that cool ocean breeze always made the heat go away. I'm going back up to Santa Cruz from the 10th-13th and again from the 24th-30th... Then to Seattle at some point in August. Just trying to get into better climates than SoCal for the summer...

I know it's hot where you're at, and it can be muggy at times.

I lived in the desert, but it was a dry heat. A bit easier to handle.

It's 12:30 AM here in Bullhead City and a mild 104 degrees. I think we cooled off today a little it was 124 degrees. On the 4th we got close to 130 degrees. The weather people never tell the real temps here. The casino's in Laughlin don't want the tourists scared off.
Las Vegas is the same way.
