The one that is on it appears to be an EBU.I can't hardly make out what it is.The bottom has linkage for choke on one side and throttle on the other side. This carb came from DC Reproduction and ain't run right yet!!!

From the 1949/59 Ford Passenger Car Parts Catalog: EBU = 1954 Ford 239 Y Block carburetor.
EBU is not listed for any Ford truck in the 1948/56 Ford Truck Parts Catalog.
Could it be an EBV?I don't know for sure.It is a truck engine I know for sure.Possibly the original one for this truck.I checked with NAPA and they can get one that is a Holley for around $200 ouch that hurts.Anybody had any luck with these carbs?
EBV is also a Y block carb, used in 1954/55 on trucks, but not on cars.
7RT-9510-A or 8RT-9510-F is the correct H-2 carb for 1948/52 239 V8 trucks. I don't have an ID number for these two, because the parts catalog doesn't list one. Cars used a similar carb in 1949/53 = 8BA-9510-A or EAB-9510-C. While the part number is different, the cars/trucks used the same carb kit.
