dash lights

"00 F-150 6 cyl 5 spd. Lately sometimes when I start the truck the odometer does not light up. After driving awhile it comes on. This is intermittent and has no consistent pattern. Brake light and seatbelt light come on at starting. Ideas?

tim nick, My 99' does the same thing. for the time being I've been givin' her a fonzerelli on the dash above the console, seems to work temporaraly. I would also like to know how to fix that.
