Found a place that would do the ABS scan for free, the scan revealed that the passenger front ABS sensor was giving an erratic reading. Since I didn't have the $150 for a new sensor I did a little troubleshooting and found the cause of the problem. Suspecting a broken wire I took the sensor off and cleaned it up, I then put my ohm meter on it (putting each test lead on each prong of the connector) and got a ohm reading of 425 ohms. Not knowing what the range should be, I held the the test leads on the prongs and had the wife bend different sections of the wire. Then SURPRISE !!, found a section that would read anywhere from 0 to 1500 ohms depending on which way the wife bent or rotated that section of wire. So knowing what section was damaged I put the sensor back on the Expedition and positioned that section of wire as straight as possible then went for a test drive. NO LIGHT CAME ON YAAAAAY !!!!
