I'm visiting my dad and as usual he has computer problems. I was finally able to get the base computer to find the router but cannot get the remote computer to find it. I guess it was all working fine a few weeks ago and then just stopped.
I've looked thru Linsys site & forums but didn't find any help there.
Make sure the firmware for the router is updated and the drivers for the wireless card also(update Windows also). Then start with all of the security settings off(encryption, MAC filtering, etc.), broadcast the SSID. Get the remote computer talking first. Then turn on the encryption, etc. I have had computers lose the key code.
I have had to put in the infromation on Linksys a couple of times before it took, on several differant routers.
Also did you add any new cordless phone? G routers run in the 2.4G range same as some phones.

Are you seeing the router from the remote PC and not able to connect?
If you can't see any wireless routers when trying to connect, then the problem may be the wireless card on the remote PC.. Look in the Hardware Device manager to see if there is an error. You can also try unistalling and reinstalling the wireless card.
If you can see the router when trying to connect then the card is fine. The problem then is the wireless security key(Password) is needed to acces the router.
You can find the key by going into the router from the other pc and finding or reseting the key.. Most people use WEP, but there is also WPA for security.
