Another air deflector question

My cobbled up pile of parts that will be a 55 someday has a 56 grille and deflectors. I may be on to a 55 grille. If so can I use the air deflector I have?
Is the only difference the indents on the 56? I noticed Mid 50 has a set for 53 - 56.
Thanks

You can use either one, our 55 came with one of each.

You're always better off with the '56s, since they can be used with earlier years also.
