Busch and COTs

How come Busch Grand Nationals aren't running the COT's? Never hear any thing about that on TV.......just wondering. RC

They will split the season next year, similar to how the NNCS is doing it this year.

It is a very expensive car to race... thats why its staying out of NBS, to keep new team costs down.

makes sense.....new cars and new sponsor for teh grand national series.......

Should be darned good to watch!!!

I heard a rumour sometime back about the Busch Series (which is supposed to be getting a new title sponsor next year, btw) switching over to the manufacturer's pony cars, maybe in 2009. GM is supposed to be bringing back the Camaro and Firebird, and Dodge has a Challenger prototype set to begin production. Ford, of course, would field the Mustang. I think doing that would make for great racing, and I hope it really happens.

I highly doubt it, they just introduced the Dodge Avenger and Chevy Impala in the COT format... anything is possible with NASCAR though. I don't believe a Mustang/Firebird has ever been in Nascar.
