Hi,
Passengers in my 2003 Expedition have commented that suspension feels unstable when turning. I do notice a rumbling noise like something is loose.
Any Suggestions are appreciated
Thanks, Juan
I was having the same problem. I had the tie rod ends replaced during a front end allignment and that actuall helped a lot. Then the shop let me know that I had the origianal shocks on it with 187,000 miles. He said get those replaced and I would see a big difference as well.
I had my mechanic look at the suspension. He noted several TSBs out on this problem (06216, 03198, 16923). The correct diagnosis " Chatter, Shutter, a binding sensation or vibration during low speed turns".
My mechanic says this is due to rear differential grabbing. He suggested I take it to dealer and pursue warranty work. He says my car should not have this problem at 50K miles.
