no the tymar only replaces the tubing from right over top of the valve cover to the air filter. is your boot that is short orange or black? If its orange there is an update kit for that. Beans might have one in stock. If not you need to visit your friendly ford parts counter and give them this part number

Intake Hose Kit (updated kit replaces orange hose, includes replacement for aluminum center section)

Last I talked to Dale he sells the orange hose upgrade kit. And it was cheaper than the stealership was. Ask him when ya get you Tymar intake!!!

The upgrade was $98 plus tax and I bought it from Mid Tenn Ford Trucks in Nashville. It fit perfect.

I bought the turbo boot update kit F7TZ-9C681-AA online from fordparts.com for $88. Regular and list prices at my local dealers were $144 and $120, so I thought it was a good price, but still a hell of a lot for what you get. Came with the new black turbo boot, a plastic section that replaces the aluminum housing, new valve cover to plastic part mounting bracket, new valve cover breather elbow hose, and a few clamps.
