Let's just say, in my 4-thread V10 heads, I won't be putting 30 lbs of torque on only 4 threads worth of aluminum. I'm not putting 30lbs of torque on my header bolts when they have more than 10 threads, about the same size as the plug threads (smaller diameter though).
I have a 2000 V10 with 85,000 on it - I need to change plugs.
What does a Ford garage charge to put in new plugs?
Will they do it right?
I work overseas right now so I will need to have it done when I get home.
Thanks...
I wouldn't even take my truck to the Ford dealer for a spark plug change. I am going to drive my truck to the blownoutsparkplug.com location in California and have the experts do the plug change for me. They have done hundreds of these and have the best reputation out there. And their price is actually lower than the local Ford dealer. Also I was told that they will travel to my location if I needed them to.
