Checked spark plug torque today
After reading so many posts about plugs shooting out after changing them I decided to go back through and recheck the torque. I changed them 10k ago and set them to 22 ft lbs. I know the spec is lower, but I got sucked into going a little tighter after reading the blownoutsparkplug guy's site. I am happy to report that all 10 were tight. Additionally the boots were in excellent shape (replaced when I did the plugs) the job only took about 1.5 hours, much faster than the actual replacement.
