4x4 headers

I would like to install headers on my 1966 F100 4x4 with a 68 390 FE but I have not been able to find a supplier. Anyone have any advice?

Look for a listing for a 352. A 390 was not offered in 66 I F100s.

Check your exhaust manifolds some 68 390's had the offset pattern heads. Typical truck pattern is verticle exhaust bolts.

Sanderson has patterns for just about every thing they may be able to help.

Garbz, Adding to your comment, most header apps may only be for the 390 and not include 352. The 3 bolt pattern "GT" would not have been offered in the pickup. Add 4WD and the odds finding headers go even higher.

I have headers on my 66 F100 4x4, they were made by Cyclone, a long time ago and I don't think that they are still around. The passenger side goes around the motor mount and it came in 3 pieces. I have a 67 GT 390 in the truck and I had the head drilled to take the truck headers.

Allen, One can install many different engines in trucks, but you post could be read that you have a factory GT in yours, and that is not correct. We do not want to mislead the readers here.

Maybe stating where yours came from would help.

thanks

check here,(http://www.autopartswarehouse.com/performance/basket.php?makeid=9&modelid=112&year=1968&partid=2 4&brandid=4112) , I bought a set of Flowtech's for my 66 F100 and they fit perfectly. They came with all the hardware and gaskets too. Keep in mind my truck is a 1966 with a 352.

John, you are right, I do not want to mislead anyone, that is why in my sig it says that the truck has a 67 Fairlane GT 390.
