Anyone have any luck removing this POS from their computers? Got it sometime this morning, and nothing has worked so far. I did some minor registry work(core.sys and core.cache.dsk removal(solution from internet)), Ad-Aware, Spybot, all to no avail. Am now doing an online virus checker from Kaspersky.com, still running at this time. This also infected one of our computers at work recently. Anyone have any suggestions?

Try running System restore and go back a day before it hit.. Sometime you get lucky doing this..
It's freeware which means you can donate money if you find it useful and you use it..There is no set amount for using the program..
I installed what I thought was it. Ran it. Said it found all kind of things wrong and I would have to pay $20.00 to turn it on to have it fix stuff. Must have got the wrong one and need to look around some more. Ya Think.
You have to be careful what you're downloading, I've come across a lot of 'download' pages, while trying to find a specific program and a lot of the 'Download' links aren't even for the program I was looking for. Caveat emptor.
I run Spybot Search and Destroy, Spyware Guard and BHO Demon; no antivirus.

As far as sites go, majorgeeks.com is pretty reliable and don't seem to jerk around with spam and crap.
