Just got finished installing dp,,,,, it was 3 1/2 hours of frustration. I had lots of trouble getting the factory dp out,,,I should have removed tranny fill tube,, my first cut near turbo did not get the flange part off enough,,,,,, I got a few metal particles very fine particles in turbo housing from cut,,,,,,, I took all of the intake boots off and blew the turbo housing out real good with air and vacuumed it out at the same time. Was this the right thing to do? Please advise if I made a mistake.
It was definetely frustrating but from what I have read it sounds like it will be well worth the effort for a long time to come.
why don't you try it cowboy steve? then let us know how much stuff you screw up afterward. oh and yeah i wouldn't worry about the stuff in the turbo since you vaccumed it and blew it out. sounds like your good to go!!!

Lol, givin me some attitude? haha, whats there to screw up? All that would happen is that my under hood compartment would be flat black instead of red, lol. I was wondering if somebody would do it while installing their new dp. Im not about to go muscle my 3.5" SD dp off the turbo just to hear what my turbinator sounds like.

Glad to see you ain't the only one who likes to give a lil' 'tude. All in good fun.
I saw where someone put three turbo's on and ran with a 6" long 90* pipe as the exhaust. No hood of course.
