Well after 6 hours of being trown around on the phone from BFG, pomps tire and discount tire (the original people i got the bfgs frombut they are 8 hour away) it sounds like i will have to make a 4 hour trip to get the tires replaced BUT they are going to get me in to Toyo open country MT I will be happy to drive 4 hours so this nightmare ends never again will i buy BFG's thanks for all your input it really helps.
Be careful, they might void your warranty if you do that!
well they won't honor my warranty anyway so it really doesn't matter plus discount is going to do it as long as there is more than 7/32nds of tread left so that gives me 6/ 32nd to burn well honestly i probably wont because my luck i will break something on my truck
The problem with the Toyo Open Country M/T, is that when they wear down they really get some loud harmonics. That humm drives me crazy.
Next time, it's going to be Toyo Open Country A/T for me.
Richard
Any mud tire when worn to less than 1/4" thread will howl like mad. I think you are just comparing the quiet ride (compared to other mudders) when new and the noise that they make when worn. Try a set of buckshot mudders or supper swamper tsl's or the claws, They all will drown out your stereo at 55MPH. These Toyos are the quietest mudder I have ever had on any vehicle. I love 'em...
